Installation Guide

3 Steps to Install on Android

Follow these steps in order. The accessibility permission in Step 2 is required for the bot to execute trades on your behalf.

Download & Install the APK from your administrator. Open the APK file. If prompted, allow installation from unknown sources. Tap Install then Open.

Enable Accessibility Permission. Open De-fiBot, Tap Allow or Enable Accessibility. In Accessibility Settings, Select De-fiBot.apk.

Turn Use Accessibility or Allow Accessibility Service. Tap Allow to confirm. Return to De-fiBot.apk.

You are done! Once the accessibility service is enabled, DefiAiBot can start trading. Open the app, sign in with your DeFi Markets credentials, and connect your exchange API to activate the bot.

Battery optimisation tip: Some Android devices kill background apps to save power. To keep the bot trading 24/7, go to Settings → Apps → DefiAiBot → Battery and select Unrestricted or Don't optimise.

Common questions about installing and running DefiAiBot on Android.

Why is accessibility permission required?

Android requires accessibility permission for any app that needs to interact with other apps on your device. DefiAiBot uses this to communicate with your trading exchange app and execute trades automatically. The permission is used only for trading actions — never for reading personal data.

Why does the app show as "De-fiBot"?

The APK uses a neutral display name during installation to avoid conflicts with some Android security scanners. This is expected behaviour — the app is DefiAiBot and the label is a harmless alias. Your administrator will confirm the exact filename before download.

How do I allow installation from unknown sources?

When you tap the APK file, Android will prompt you with a message like "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source." Tap Settings, then enable Allow from this source for your browser or file manager. Return and tap the APK again to install.

The bot stops trading when I lock my phone — how do I fix it?

Go to Settings → Apps → DefiAiBot → Battery and select Unrestricted. On Samsung devices, also go to Settings → Device Care → Battery → Background usage limits and make sure DefiAiBot is not in the "Sleeping apps" list. On Xiaomi/Redmi, enable Autostart for DefiAiBot in Security settings.

Can I run the bot on both Android and Windows?

Yes — your license covers both platforms. Cross-platform sync keeps your account, bot state and trade history consistent. You can run the bot on one device and monitor from the other, or run both simultaneously. Download the Windows version here →

How do I uninstall the accessibility service?

Go to Settings → Accessibility → Downloaded apps (or Installed services), find DefiAiBot or De-fiBot, and toggle it off. You can then uninstall the app normally from Settings → Apps.
